The British High Commissioner to Australia, His Excellency Paul Madden, paid a visit to FieldCandy on the 7th March to discover how we have entered the Australian market with our exciting range of designer tents.
Paul Madden, based in Canberra, visited FieldCandy’s Derbyshire HQ last week to meet the team and was delighted to be presented with a new Australian flag themed tent, aptly named Walkabout.
Paul heard about FieldCandy’s journey since their start up in 2011 and explored the FieldCandy factory to see how we make our high quality products proudly made in England.
FieldCandy have grown their export business and now distribute 85% of their products to international customers, with Australia as a core market. Australia has the all year round camping culture associated with great weather. Unsurprisingly, the ‘What a Melon’ tent is a particular favourite of the Australians; a tent disguised as a refreshing looking slice of melon!
FieldCandy hope that His Excellency's visit will lead to new connections and developing a new international strategy with that helps us establish strong retail partnerships and grow our market in this amazing country.
