Cows have always played a big part at Glastonbury, the award winning herd at Worthy Farm calmly graze the meadows during the rest of the year - and at the first festival in 1970 with an attendance of 1,500 the entry price of £1 included free milk from the farm!

Since then of course Glastonbury Festival in the UK, has become a world wide phenomenon with 135,00 attending in 2011 and hundreds of thousands of others following the event on TV, radio and on-line, with images of cows regularly featured before and during the event.


'Glastocows' Tent

In honor of this wonderful Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts - FieldCandy have introduce the GlastoCows tent - created by Cow Artist Jackie Spurrier, this wonderful tent design features ‘Eavis’ (the cow on the front of the tent) and three young calves on the rear, with Glastonbury Tor in the background and the festival in full swing.
