Product Development Manager (Extremities Brand)

As the Product Development Manager at Hubaco Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in leading the product development process from ideation to launch.

Your responsibilities include defining product specifications, managing project timelines and resources, conducting market research, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and align with business goals. 

Key Tasks

  • Ideation to Launch: Lead the product development process, from generating ideas to successful product launch.
  • Product Specifications: Define product specifications and requirements based on customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing, to ensure successful product development.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, costs, and resources to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance and customer feedback, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify product opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality materials and components are used in product development.
  • Communication: Communicate product updates and changes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the product development process.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and prioritize the product development pipeline to ensure a steady flow of new products.
  • Critical Path Management: Take ownership of the product’s critical path management.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sewing Production Operative to join our production team. This post offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in sewing and textile manufacturing.

Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will learn the intricacies of sewing techniques, equipment operation, and product quality control, all while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the production of high-quality backpacking and expedition tents.
  • Learning and practising sewing techniques, including pattern cutting, stitching, and machine operation.
  • Operating sewing machines and other related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assisting in the preparation and cutting of fabrics and materials for production.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Assisting in the inspection and quality control of finished products to meet Terra Nova Equipment’s standards.
  • Collaborating with the manufacturing team to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Actively participating in training programs and workshops to enhance sewing skills and knowledge.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and following established company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrating a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow as a sewing professional.
