How do you deliver my FieldCandy tent?
FieldCandy has a straightforward shipping policy. We deliver to most places in the world via Fed Ex, who offer a fast and efficient service to your door and will require a signature.
The shipping costs per tent are shown below :
All EU Countries inc. the UK + Australia, BFPO, Croatia, Russia, Switzerland & USA : £15GBP
All other countries in the world : £35GBP
We aim to dispatch all orders the next day. Deliveries to the UK and Europe usually only take two or three days, the rest of the world only four or five days.
Whilst we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates, but will make sure we keep you fully updated about any known delay.
Unfortunately Fed Ex can not deliver to a PO box, as they require a signature - however if you do not have an alternative, please contact us and we will find another way:)
We pay all duties and taxes that may arise along the way in most countries, including all EU countries, Australia, Canada, Channel Islands, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, UAE and the USA.

Once you have placed your order you will receive an email confirmation shortly after (usually within an hour). You will receive a second email from us accepting your order once we have confirmed availability of your chosen Limited Edition design. As soon as your order is dispatched you will receive an email from FedEx with full tracking details.
When is payment taken for my order?
When you place your order your debit or credit card is charged for the whole amount due, a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) reinforced by an encryption process is in place to protect all significant data related to payment.
When will I receive my tent?

What happens if I’m out when you deliver?
A card will be left by FedEx allowing you to either reschedule your delivery or collect at your convenience.

SEWING & SEALING - FieldCandy inner tents are sewn with cotton, and the flysheets with treated polyester, both through flat felled seams which are then seam sealed for maximum performance.
How many people can sleep in a FieldCandy tent?
FieldCandy tents are significantly larger (width, length and height) than the industry standard two person tent, making for a more comfortable and spacious sleeping area. Plus a separate lobby/porch area for storage or wet items.
We may call it a two person tent, but it will really sleep three people quite easilly.

Very waterproof! Your FieldCandy tent is 100% treated polyester, coated with polyurethane and fluorocarbon, before being sewn with treated polyester thread through flat felled seams.
Waterproof to a minimum of 3,000mm hydrostatic head. Fully seam sealed for ultimate wind and rain protection.
FieldCandy tents are made to be remarkably easy to put up and with a bit of practice it should take less than five minutes. We provide clear and simple waterproof instructions with every FieldCandy tent.

Your FieldCandy tent has been designed as a high performance expedition tent with classic ‘A’ frame storm tent construction. Based on the hardiest expedition tents on the market to stand up to extreme weather conditions, it will be more durable and waterproof than most others on the market.

Can I use my tent without putting the printed flysheet on?
No, the flysheet is the most important part of your tent to make it water and weather proof. If you are sometimes a bit shy and don’t want to make a statement every time you pitch your tent, you can purchase a plain black flysheet as an optional extra, on our website checkout page £80GBP.

What is the best way to pack my tent away?
To reduce mildew, your tent is treated with Ultra-Fresh an anti-fungal and anti-bacterial agent. However, always ensure that your entire tent is completely dry before packing it away. Always store your dry tent in a cool, dry place. If space permits hang it open rather than folded to allow good air circulation.
