Please read these terms and conditions carefully and make sure that you understand them, before ordering any Goods from our site.
Please understand that by ordering any of our Goods, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
You will be asked to check a box that states you've agreed to our terms and conditions on the check out page. Please understand that if you do not accept these terms and conditions, you will not be able to order goods from our site.

Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of these website terms at any time without further notice. If we do this, we will post the changes to these website terms on this page and will indicate at the top of this page the date these terms were last revised. Your continued use of the website after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new website terms but any changes will not affect any orders which have yet to be delivered. It is your responsibility to regularly check the website to determine if there have been changes to these website terms and to review such changes. Please the take time to read these terms as it is important for both of us that you understand our contractual relationship both relating to your use of our website and the services we provide you.
Description of products
Whilst many component parts of our products are standard, all products available for purchase are described on their specific design page on our website. We always try to represent each design as accurately as possible via photography and copy points provided by designers, artists or photographers.
We have a policy of continuous product development so we can provide you with what we consider the best design combined with best performance, and thus reserve the right to amend the specifications of products, their price, packaging and any service associated at any time, without prior notice. Before ordering, we thus invite you to have a close look at the product description and design: we choose every design with great care in order to provide you with an exclusive FieldCandy tent, but each design is different and you have to make it yours.
We use our best efforts to provide you with the best images and description, but unfortunately cannot guarantee that colours and details in website images are 100% accurate representations of the product, and sizes might in some cases be approximate. All FieldCandy Flysheets are individually printed and manufactured. Therefore colour variations will occur and no two FieldCandy Flysheets will ever be identical.
If your order is delayed for any reason (manufacturing process, quality control issue, or other quality or manufacturing issues), we will notify you of the situation as soon as possible and advise you by email when you should expect delivery. Should for any reason the delay cause you to not wish to proceed, you may cancel your order and you will be reimbursed in full.
Prices are shown in a number of currencies and calculated on an ongoing basis by way of a recognized currency convertor XE.com (terms apply). Purchases made will be charged in Pounds Sterling(£). International credit card providers or banks will determine the actual exchange rate and may add an additional processing or administraton charge in relation to such payment which international card holders will be liable to pay.
All prices shown on the website for both products and delivery services are inclusive of any applicable UK VAT. This means that the total price you pay us for products, or delivery, is always the same, regardless of whether or not UK VAT is chargeable. Where delivery has been requested to an EU address, the price paid for the product and the delivery service will usually include UK VAT. Where delivery is made to a non-EU address, both the products and the delivery service will normally be zero-rated, with no UK VAT chargeable on either. However, the price paid for the products and delivery services will remain the same as shown on the website.
The price of delivery will be stated when you place your order.
The total purchase price including delivery charge will be displayed in your check out page prior to confirming your order.
Product prices and delivery charges are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you an email order confirmation.
Soon after receiving your order you will receive an e-mail from us confirming the details, description and price for the products ordered together with some information on your rights to return your goods. Payment of the total price plus delivery must be made in full before dispatch of your products.
Purchase of products
Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us once we have sent you an email order confirmation. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a order confirmation email do not form part of that contract.
The company shall under no circumstances be held liable for any special losses due to specific circumstances of the customer, indirect or consequential losses or wasted expenditure.
Orders are placed and received exclusively via the Internet and processed by Outstanding Tents Limited.
Before ordering from us, it is your responsibility to check and determine your full ability to receive the products. Correct address and post code / zip code, up-to-date mobile telephone number and e-mail address are absolutely necessary to ensure successful delivery of your products.
All information asked on the checkout page must be filled in precisely and accurately. We will not be responsible for missed delivery because of a wrong delivery address or an inappropriate phone number. Should you like to ask for a change in the delivery address, notify change in a phone number or any other special requirements, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
When you place your order your debit or credit card is charged for the whole amount due. FieldCandy uses a powerful security system, a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) reinforced by an encryption process in order to protect all significant data related to payment. A credit or debit card issued by companies listed on the payment page and all other necessary information are needed for payment.
The sale will be submitted for processing as soon as you click on the "confirm" button. You will then receive an email from us, firstly to confirm receipt of your order and a second email to accept it, confirms availability of the product, and estimated delivery date.
By placing an order through the Website, you are confirming that you are legally entitled to use the means of payment tendered and, in the case of card payments, that you are either the cardholder or have the cardholder's express permission to utilise the card to effect payment.
We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of refusing or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
We deliver to most places in the world. Delivery prices may vary depending on delivery location, and additional charges may be added to the order for remote or difficult to access locations that require special attention. Standard delivery charges are as follows - All EU Countries inc. the UK, BFPO, Croatia, Russia, Switzerland & USA, GBP£15. All other countries in the world, GBP£35; however we reserve the right to advise you of any additional delivery charges that apply to your specific delivery address at the time of our second e-mail to you accepting your order, confirming availability of the product, and estimated delivery date .
We aim to dispatch all orders promptly. Deliveries to the UK and Europe usually only take two or three days, the rest of the world only four or five days. We can not guarantee delivery dates and accept no responsibility, apart from advising you of any known delay, for products that are delivered after the estimated delivery date.
This is only an average estimation, and some delivery can take longer, or alternatively be delivered much faster. All delivery estimates given at the time of placing and confirming order are subject to change. In any case, we will do our best to contact you and advise you of all changes. FieldCandy can normally provide regular tracking of orders that have been dispatched and will aim to keep you updated as to the progress of your order. We try our best to make delivery of your product as simple for you as possible.
Depending on the location for the delivery different carriers and services might be used to deliver your order, but all will be well vetted and of proven reliability.
The Goods will be your responsibility from the time of delivery.
Ownership of the Goods will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Goods, including delivery charges.
In the event of your order being returned to FieldCandy due to a failed delivery, a re-delivery fee will be charged, along with all re-delivery costs, taxes, duties and an appropriate admin fee. If you cancel your order at this stage then any additional costs will be deducted from your refund.
If you order Goods from our site for delivery outside the EU, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination.
In many countries including, (all of the EU Australia, Canada, Channel Islands, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, UAE and the USA), we aim to deliver on a DDP (deliver duty paid basis). If, due to circumstances beyond our control you are charged any duty or taxes when your goods reach the destination, contact us with documentary evidence that the charge has been levied and that you have paid it in full.
We also ship to various other countries on a DDU basis (delivery duty unpaid). This means that you the customer will be liable for any local sales taxes or import duties which may be charged on the purchase, these countries include, (Argentina, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belarus, Bermuda, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Brazil, Cayman Islands, Chile, Croatia, Egypt, India, Jamaica, Malaysia, Morocco, Oman, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines,, St Vincent, Seychelles, South Korea and Ukraine). We will always seek confirmation prior to dispatching your goods to make sure you are aware of the DDU policy.
If your country is not listed above please send an email to email@example.com and we will confirm whether we are able to ship to you and whether this will be on a (DDP) or a (DDU) basis.
Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.
If you are contracting as a consumer, you may cancel a Contract at any time within seven working days, beginning on the day after you received the Goods. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the Goods in accordance with our refunds policy (set out below).
To cancel a Contract, you must inform us in writing. You must also return the Goods to us as soon as reasonably practicable, and at your own cost. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Goods while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation.
Details of your statutory right of cancellation, and an explanation of how to exercise it, are provided in the email order confirmation. This provision does not affect your other statutory rights as a consumer.
Return policy and procedure
We work everyday to provide you with the best quality designs and products, and truly wish you will be pleased with the product you have ordered from our website. However if for any reason you are not, please follow the following instructions for returning items.
Please open and check your order the day you receive it and inform us of any transit damage problems immediately. All items and parts of items must be checked for any damage prior to assembly. It is your responsibility to check that your delivered products have arrived in perfect condition, before signing any delivery form.
If for any reason you wish to return your purchase you must notify us contacting our Customer Service team by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the order reference number, a full description of the problem, your Unique Product Number, your name and contact details and a quick explanation of the reason why you wish to return the product along with any detail you consider important. We usually answer emails within one working day and will contact you to organize a collection and explain all the necessary procedures.
If you return a product to us because you have cancelled the Contract between us within the seven-day cooling-off period (see "consumer rights" clause above), we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day on which you gave us notice of cancellation. In this case, we will refund the price of the Goods in full, and any applicable delivery charges. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
If you return a product to us for any other reason (for instance because you consider that the Product is defective), we will examine the returned Product and will notify you of your refund via email within a reasonable period of time.
We will usually process any refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you via e-mail that you were entitled to a refund. We will refund the price of defective Goods in full, any applicable delivery charges and any reasonable costs you incur in returning the item to us.
If the delivered product does not fit your order, is damaged or incorrectly supplied, please contact us at hello@fieldcandy as soon as possible to arrange a refund or replacement. Please try to notify us of damages within 24 hours of delivery. We will ask you to send us a photo of the damage for our records and to assist us in taking appropriate action. We will require you to return the item with care. Please include your customer order details with the package, as these are necessary for processing a return. Once received, the items will be checked and our customer service will contact you by email within a reasonable period of time to advise you of the possible replacement or refund.
As a general rule, should you change your mind and want to return your item and get a refund, you will be liable for all delivery costs both to you and back to us. We do not accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit.
We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are NOT refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EU).
Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications we send to you should be in writing. When using our site, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic. We will contact you by e-mail or provide you with information by posting notices on our website. For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
All notices given by you to us must be given to Outstanding Tents Limited t/a FieldCandy at email@example.com. We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when placing an order, or in any of the ways specified above. Notice will be deemed received and properly served immediately when posted on our website, 24 hours after an email is sent, or three business days (in the case of a letter sent internationally by airmail, 5 business days) after the date of posting of any letter. In proving the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that such letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an email, that such email was sent to the specified email address of the addressee.
Law and Jurisdiction
Contracts for the purchase of Products through our site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by English law. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with such Contracts or their formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
This guarantee does not affect and is in addition to your legal rights as a consumer.
FieldCandy products are guaranteed to the original purchaser against defects in materials and manufacture for a period of ONE year from the date of purchase.
All FieldCandy tents must pass rigorous quality control checks before we release them into the wild. Faults are highly unlikely, but should any become apparent within the guarantee period, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org

We will either repair qualifying defects free of charge or replace all or parts of the product at our sole discretion.
Please note that as all FieldCandy Flysheets are Limited Editions, FieldCandy can not guarantee to replace the same design and as such, should a Flysheet require replacement and no longer be available, you would be requested to choose a current design.
This guarantee is only valid when the product it covers is used for recreational purposes in conditions for which FieldCandy tents are designed. It is not valid for commercial or non-recreational usage – for example, tent hire or expedition use.
This guarantee also excludes damage caused by normal wear and tear, including weathering, ultra-violet degradation, storm damage, high wind, misuse, neglect, improper care or accident.
Please note that this is a 'back to base' guarantee. It therefore does not include the cost of returning the product to us. Exceptions may be made, but these must be at our sole discretion.
FieldCandy's only responsibility shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective product. FieldCandy can not be responsible for any consequential loss.
