First off… tell us a bit about yourself!

I currently live in Portland, Oregon. I am a full time student completing my Bachelors of Science at Portland State University. I am also completing a Minor in Sustainability and a Outdoor and Athletic Industry Certificate through the Center for Retail Leadership. My passion is the outdoors.

I grew up in Northern California and spent most of my childhood outside. For as long as I can remember I have found peace in nature and never stop exploring to new places. This passion has fueled my education and is why I am interested in studying Sustainability and hope to continue working in the Outdoor and Athletic Industry. A few of my favorite outdoor hobbies include: Camping (in my Field Candy tent of course!), hiking, snowboarding, climbing, kayaking, golfing, bicycling, softball, road trips, spending time with my dog, and going to live music festivals!

What do you think makes FieldCandy stand out from the crowd?

FieldCandy offers quality with fun. The best part about camping is to enjoy the act of being outside in nature. FieldCandy tents offer a great quality tent that reminds you to enjoy yourself and that camping doesn't have to be so serious. They're also a great way to stand out in a sea of tents at a music festival! How do you think FieldCandy compares to other camping brands/products? I can say without a doubt that my FieldCandy tent is highest quality tent that I own.

What’s your favourite festival?

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Hands down one of the greatest festivals there is! Where else can you see all of your favorite artists in one place? You can bet I'll be bringing my FieldCandy tent this year!

Where else do you like camping?

I'm leaving soon to make a trip down to California to visit my family--while I'm down there I plan on camping on the beach, in a friend's backyard, on the California coast in Big Sur, and surrounded by redwoods in Humboldt County. Just to name a few of the many!

What’s your favourite designs?

The tent that started it all was "What a Melon." This tent is what originally caught my eye and made me a forever fan of FieldCandy. My other favorite designs are: Bricks and Mortar, Ten Million Fireflies, Grasslands, Always Room For One More, and Spacious.

What you would do to change the world?

This is the billion dollar question, isn't it? My entire life I have asked myself this question and the older I get, the less I think I want to know the answer. My quest to change (or better) the world is what drives me to learn, grow, and be inspired. Part of me never wants to figure out exactly what I want to do, because that ensures a life of adventure and inspiration. But if I could change one thing, I would encourage more people to get in touch with nature--there is a lot to learn from something that has been around for 4.5 billion years!
